Spent some time looking around and visiting dealerships over the past few weeks. I kept going back to an Acura TLX as my choice. I made a phone call to Bob Lindsay Acura. I talked with Tim Lipsey explaining I have a strong interest in one of the vehicles listed in their inventory. Tim informed me he wanted to put hands on the vehicle to ensure they still have it. He confirmed it was in stock. Perfect, we set an appointment, where I learned it was his day off. I told him I can make another day. Not necessary, I would be happy to meet with you. On arrival the car I was interested in was inside a customer viewing area. The car was spotless!!! What I found really amazing is every employee I encountered during my time walking around looking, both inside and outside of the building greeted me. I came prepared with research on the vehicle I was interested in. Not needed, they exceeded those figures in their offer. I received what I considered a very fair deal for both of us. Amazingly I went through a seamless very professional negotiation and purchase. My experience here rates this dealership and staff as Fantastic!!!
3-13-18 I'm back for an oil change and tire rotation.Honsetly this is the best dealership I have dealt with. They definitely are interested in their customers first. No pressure sales at all.
What an amazing experience...the entire staff was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made my wife and I extremely comfortable the entire time we were there. We drove up to Peoria from the StL metro area on a Saturday afternoon...were able to work out a fantastic deal and the staff stayed after hours to close with us. First rate establishment and I will certainly do business with Bob Lindsay Acura again.
The sales staff don't pressure you. But listen to what you are looking for. When picking up the car I purchased. Staff took my wife to the vehicle. To set up and show her the features. Plus how to use them. From start to finish a very good experience.
My first car buying experience with this dealer was great! The consultant Tim and business manager Sandy were both very helpful throughout my entire car selecting/buying process. They made the process fairly simple and easy, wonderful experience. If you need any advice, go find Tim, He is the guy!
I was treated very badly by the Acura dealership when I had difficulty getting parts for my ILX, they were rude and snotty. I haven’t had my car for 11 months and refuse to even offer my something to drive until it is fixed, don’t put your faith and hard earned money in bob Lindsay Acura.
Bought a vehicle from being out of state. Brady was awesome, he made the whole process a seamless and stress free experience! prompt in response, respectful, kept me posted throughout the process, went and beyond to help with the purchase! highly recommend this dealership!
Highlight: Katie at the front desk was very kind, was very hospitable, and made my family (kids) feel very comfortable while I looked.
Significant Lowlight: I got there about 15 minutes before closing. Wanted to look at two vehicles, called that I was on my way and which ones I wanted to see, and upon arriving communicated that I was moving quickly and was aware that they closed soon and wouldn't linger. The salesman mentioned 4 times in a span of 5 minutes that he was disinterested in showing me cars. Maybe he had somewhere to be at 6:01? Regardless, it was obnoxious and rude, and I finally told him to forget about, that I didn't want to inconvenience him.
Then I went across the street and bought a car from Lexus of Peoria / Peoria Toyota. I suggest you consider doing the same.
Definitely will not be back.
